Our mission at House of Refuge church is to create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is welcomed through teaching of the Word of God, prayer, and worship.
Our vision is to see lives transformed and spirits renewed by God's Love.
Meet the Pastor
Pastor James Jeffries
Pastor Jeffries started pastoring in 1988 at a little church called Reggio Assembly of God. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, which completely destroyed the church building, God called him and his family back to St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana. In search of a property for 2 years, God provided for a new church building in 2007 and the rebuilding and reconstruction of this building began. In November of 2009, House of Refuge Assembly of God was dedicated to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whom without Him this would not be possible.
House of Refuge Assembly of God is located in St. Bernard Parish on Highway 46.

Sunday Morning Service - 10:00am
Sunday Evening Intercessory Prayer - 6:00pm
Wednesday Night Bible Study - 7:00pm
